Thi Van-Dinh, D.D.S., M.S., is a board certified periodontist who graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Bioengineering. She attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry where she graduated in the top 5% of her class, and received post-graduate training in all aspects of periodontics at the University of Maryland where she graduated at the top of her class.
She has extensive experience with traditional periodontal procedures such as open flap debridement, osseous surgery, bone grafting, crown lengthening, and scaling and root planing; implant site development including ridge and sinus augmentation; and implant placement. She especially enjoys soft tissue augmentation and root coverage coverage procedures.
In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Van-Dinh is also a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School.
Dr. Van-Dinh grew up in San Jose, California. She is married with two rescued cats (who were featured in last years MD-SPCA calendar).
